The perfect opportunity for international accountancy students to gain practical work experience
What Is An Internship

Our "internship programme" is an opportunity offered by accountancy practices to potential interns, to work at a firm for a fixed or limited period of time. Interns on our programme are usually accountancy students and most internships last for any length of time between one week and 12 months. They are usually part-time if offered during a college semester and could be full-time if offered during the summer and winter holidays. Students who are studying on a student visa in Ireland are able to take an unpaid internship without affecting their allowable paid working limit of 20 hours each week.

An internship provides a great opportunity for students to gain experience in a particular field or industry, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, create a network of contacts, and gain practical experience that will count towards future professional body membership. Interns may also have the possibility of putting themselves forward for forthcoming opportunities for paid work, during their internship.
